Add your blog to my magazine.

Published by jodapoet at 12:38 pm under Writing Edit This

Three times a year I publish a poetry and writing ezine called Ya’Sou! Ezine!  I began publishing the zine years ago in 2000 as a hard-copy magazine which I loved however it became way too expensive to maintain.  So, in order to save money yet still keep my readers happy I decided to publish online.  Ya’Sou! showcases poets and writers from all backgrounds and experience.  It is an eclectic group of extremely creative writers and artists.  For those of you wondering about the name Yasou is derived from a Greek word meaning “to yours” which is used to toast at Greek celebrations.

Since I’ve begun to blog, which I love, I decided to incorporate the blogging into my ezine.  I’m not sure yet exactly what I’ll be doing but I thought why not ask my blogger buddies here if you’d like to have your blog added to a blogroll page I will create for the zine.  Since it is a writing magazine, I’d prefer just writing type blogs or any type of creative arts blogs.  Basically anything that is art related would be fine.  I will be working on the Fall issue within a week or so which will be published beginning November so if you’d like to be included in the magazine just leave a comment with your name and blog link and I’ll add it to the page.  I have hundreds of subscribers per month so your blog will be seen.  So, get the word out and send me your blog links.  And, by the way your link will be on the magazine indefinitely.

Thanks everyone.

What a nice thing to do for people. I’d love to have my blog added if you think it’s worthy. It’s a blog that features my writing. I have poetry and flash fiction on there.

Also, if you need I would certainly nominate some that are in my Today.com blogroll for their creativity. PM me if you like. There are a few artsy ones that would compliment your ezine.

I’m not sure if mine would count; it was supposed to be evenly balanced between writing and other things, but due to the nature of the network I landed on…

    Anyway, your decision. http://exchangeofrealities.today.com

Hey. That is great and I hope many get to apply and get their works placed on the ezine.

It is great that you have done that. . . poetry is really great. Have you read Emily Dickinson?

God bless you on your work and how you keep people thinking.

    Take care. . . chris.

I’d give you my blog if I could start one. I don’t know that much about html and code and the places that I tried to apply have no way for me to do it. I don’t know.

    Love to write in general,
would love to show short-stories and try first RD (reader’s digest).

    chris

Remember that God can help us with our tough times. When one learns of Him and accepts Him. . . hope and love is there.
    God loves always!

Hi Michelle, thanks for commenting. I’ve added your site to my blogroll and my other blogroll on my Ya’Sou! site. Great blogs.

Wow, that’s very generous. I don’t know if it’s too late, but I just started a blog for book reviews at lostquiteclassically.today.com. I don’t have much of my original writing on the internet because of publishing concerns, although some–more fanfic and similar things–can be found at theturningworld.livejournal.com. For obvious reasons, though, I’d prefer to get more traffic at my today.com blogs. :p
