Poets In Schools

There are dozens of programs around the country that provide residency and classroom visits for experienced writers and poets.  There are also State agencies which provide grants for arts in schools.  I am going to list a few programs here that link poets to schools.  You can contact them for requirements and guidelines.

    Ratty - Thanks but I don’t participate in these things, it takes too much of my time. Thanks for thinking of me though.

    This is a good incentive. We need softness and poetry in our lives, especially now.
